Hello Kitty Run 2018
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 14 December 2018, Friday – Hello Kitty Run Dubai, presented by Babyshop marked its third successful fun run leaving all the thousands of participating Hello Kitty fans happy and thrilled at Zabeel Park.

This year’s Hello Kitty Run Dubai painted the park in the shades of Blue & Pink complimenting the overall “Hello Kitty Winter Wonderland” theme. The 5km fun run effectively engaged the UAE community into a fun-filled event alongside the internationally loved character Hello Kitty, who cut the start ribbon and joined her fans by posing for selfies with all runners, little ones & grown-ups alike, spreading love, happiness and inspiring a fun and active life.
“The Hello Kitty Run Dubai is now a permanent fixture on the local events calendar and we are already in the planning for 2019 which also marks the 45th birthday of Hello Kitty. We are thankful for the tremendous local support we receive each year which shows in the kind of activations our partners are conducting around the venue to enhance the experience of the participants and hope to expand the event into other GCC countries soon,” states Eric M. After taking the Hello Kitty runners around Zabeel Park, the fun continued beyond the finish line after each participant collected their exclusive Hello Kitty Race medal in the Entertainment Village. Food stalls, inflatables, clowns, magic shows, a “Best Dressed” – fashion contest, beauty services such as nail polish and hair braids and the free BMI assessment, pediatrician consultation, Pears Fresh Juice Bar inside the USA Pears dome, and much more was on offer to the participants following the race.

The highlight of the day was the long-awaited Meet& Greet on the village stage where literally several hundred participants greeted Hello Kitty and posed for their personal selfie.
The 3rd Hello Kitty Run Dubai was presented by Babyshop and sponsored by USA Pears, Emirates NBD, Virgo International, Daman Insurance, Cheeky Monkeys, and Golds Gym, while the race organization and licensing were compliments of Sanrio and MMC Sportz Marketing.
